Materials:

·        Chipku Fruit Fly Glass Trap

·        Fruit Fly Lure (specific to the species you want to trap)

Steps:

1.     Add the provided Fruit Fly Lure into the Chipku Glass Trap. This lure is designed to mimic the scent that is irresistible to fruit flies.

2.     Fill the trap with a little water, up to the fill line. This is where the attracted fruit flies will fall and be unable to escape.

3.     Screw on the top of the trap securely.

4.     Hang the Chipku Fruit Fly Glass Trap in the area where you've seen fruit flies. Typically, this is in or around fruit trees, gardens, or waste disposal areas.

5.     Check the trap regularly. Remove and count the trapped flies to monitor the population size and the effectiveness of the trap.

6.     Clean the trap and replace the lure as per the instructions provided with the product, or when the lure is no longer effective or the trap is full.

Remember that fruit fly traps are primarily used for monitoring fruit fly populations, but can also contribute to reducing their numbers when used in large quantities. Materials:

Steps:

1.     Apply the Diamondback Moth pheromone lure inside the trap. This lure is designed to mimic the scent of the female moth's sex pheromone, attracting male moths to the trap.

2.     Position the traps in the field. The traps should be set at crop canopy height and evenly distributed throughout the field.

3.     Check the traps regularly, at least once a week. Count and remove the moths that have been caught in the trap. This gives you an idea of the population size and the success of the trap.
